Maintenance Manager - Food Manufacturing Job

Overview
An established food manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations, facility improvements, equipment reliability, and engineering support within a high-volume production environment.

The successful candidate will oversee maintenance teams, capital projects, contractor relationships, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities
*Lead maintenance and engineering activities across the facility
*Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
*Manage maintenance personnel, training, and resource planning
*Oversee capital improvement and facility upgrade projects
*Coordinate external contractors and service providers
*Support production operations through effective maintenance planning
*Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions
*Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Requirements
*Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in a technical field
*5+ years of management experience in food manufacturing
*Experience with breading, batter, and fryer production systems
*Experience with refrigeration systems
*Experience with wastewater systems
*Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
*Experience managing maintenance teams and projects
*Computer proficiency including Excel and Microsoft Office

Preferred
*Experience with CAD software
*Experience with PLC-controlled equipment
*Strong leadership and problem-solving skills

Compensation
Base Salary: $130,000 – $150,000
Permanent Full-Time Position
