is in need of Maintenance Assistant
NOC Code: 75119
Employment Terms: Full Time – Permanent
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assist with maintenance and repair of production equipment.
2. Assist with troubleshooting mechanical and equipment issues.
3. Support preventive maintenance programs.
4. Perform general building and facility maintenance.
5. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
6. Assist with inventory and organization of maintenance tools, parts, and supplies.
7. Follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
8. Perform other related duties as necessary.
Employment Requirements:
1. Education: Some secondary school education is required.
2. Work Experience: At least 7 months previous related experience is required. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided to the successful candidate to ensure they are fully familiar with the company's safe work practices, processes, and quality standards.
3. Ability to perform physically demanding work.
4. Basic mechanical aptitude and experience with hand and power tools.
5. Familiarity with equipment maintenance and facility operation.
6. Ability to work independently or part of a team.
7. Ability to handle heavy loads up to 50 lbs.
8. Valid driver’s license is required.
Working Hours: 10 hours/day, 40 hours/week, work schedule is between 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Thursday, 3 days off per week on weekends
Wage/Benefits: $23.00/hour / Dental Insurance, Disability Insurance, Vision Care, Extended Medical Insurance after 3 months probation period
