Magic Cleaners is seeking a F/T Laundry and Dry-Cleaning Manager. Job

Position Info:
• Position: Laundry and Dry-Cleaning Manager
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $38.00-$39.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-44 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1
• Work Location: 4702 26 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T3E 0R2

Job Duties:
• Oversee daily shop operations, including garment intake, processing, pressing and pickup
• Coordinate staff schedules and daily workflow to meet turnaround times for orders
• Recruit, train and supervise counter staff and pressing employees
• Resolve customer concerns regarding damaged garments, delayed orders or billing discrepancies
• Maintain inventory of cleaning solvents, detergents, hangers, bags and other supplies
• Track daily cash receipts, sales and shop expenses against the budget
• Establish procedures for garment handling, stain treatment and quality checks
• Review daily production output and address recurring processing issues
• Set pricing for cleaning and alteration services based on garment type and market rates
• Arrange with suppliers and repair technicians for equipment maintenance and orders

Job Requirements:
• Language: English
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in dry cleaning operations, garment alterations or a supervisory role is required
