Position: Machinist

Duration: Full Time

Location: 160 Commander Blvd, Scarborough, ON M1S 3C8

Weekly hours: 32-40; Overtime rate (X1.5) applicable after 44 hours of work per week

Vacation: 4f the gross salary

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables.
Repairing machine tools and parts, and setting up and adjusting production machinery/tools.
Maintaining, repairing, and calibrating precision measuring instruments.
Documenting deviations from specifications and tolerances.
Maintaining inspection records and completing inspection reports.
Verifying dimensions of machined parts and products using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
Computing dimensions and tolerances and laying out workpieces.
Operating and maintaining conventional and CNC machine tools.

Experience and Specialization:

Proficiency in using measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and verniers.
Knowledge of creating and maintaining maintenance and repair reports.
