Machinist Job

F/T, Permanent Position. Salary $36.50/hr. Seeking a qualified person who can set up and operate a variety of machines to produce precision products; plan the order in which machine operations are executed; select appropriate tools, set cutting and rotating speeds and determine tolerance levels; layout, measure, and mark paper stock to display placement of cuts; perform routine maintenance on machines; calculate dimensions and tolerances; monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process; set controls to regulate machining, or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media; check product pieces to ensure that they are as per specifications and order; operate equipment to verify operational efficiency; ensure finished paper products are packaged and labeled as per orders; dispose of scrap or waste material in accordance with company policies.

Job requirements/skill sets:

Successful candidates must have completed secondary school and have relevant experience of 1 month to less than 7 months; be self-motivated and work well in a team environment.
