MACHINIST Job

Unique Store Fixtures Ltd. is currently seeking 2 experienced Machinists to join our team in Concord, Ontario.
We are looking for skilled and dependable individuals with strong machining experience who can work accurately with conventional and computer-controlled machinery, interpret technical drawings and specifications, and contribute to the production of high-quality products for our custom manufacturing operations.

Wage: $37.00 per hour
Hours: 30–40 hours per week
Work Location: On-site
Schedule: Early morning, morning, day, evening and weekend shifts may be required
Start Date: As soon as possible
Experience Required: 3 years to less than 5 years
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Language: English

Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Measuring and laying out work pieces in preparation for assembly;
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables;
- Setting up and adjusting production machinery and tools;
- Setting up and operating conventional and computer-controlled machine tools;
- Repairing machine tools and parts;
- Maintaining, repairing and calibrating precision measuring instruments;
- Using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and calipers, to verify dimensions of machined parts;
- Inspecting finished products to ensure accuracy and conformity with specifications;
- Maintaining inspection records and completing inspection reports; and
- Performing machining work related to the company's production requirements, including work associated with kitchen cabinets and vanities.

Qualifications
Candidates should have:
- 3 years to less than 5 years of relevant experience;
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and technical specifications;
- Experience setting up and operating conventional and computer-controlled machine tools;
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments;
- Strong attention to accuracy and detail;
- Ability to inspect completed work for conformity with specifications; and
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site manufacturing environment.
