Job Title: Machinist, CNC (computer numerical control) (NOC-72100)

Work Location: 35 Valleywood Drive, Markham, Ontario L3R 5L9, Canada
Term of employment: Full-time, permanent position with minimum 35-40 hours per week
Compensation: $ 34.50/hour
Start Date: As soon as possible

Main duties include but are not limited to:
-Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts
-Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables
-Set up and adjust production machineries/tools
-Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
-Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
-Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
-Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
-Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools
-Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments

Requirements:
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Minimum 1 to less than 7 months experience required
Language: English

On site:
-Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
