Job requirements:
Education: secondary
Work experience: at least one year of experience as a machinist support or in operating CNC equipment
Language: English

Conditions:
Hourly wage: 38$ per hour
Number of hours per week: minimum 30 hours per week.
Working hours: 9 am till 5 pm

Main Tasks
-Support the senior machining in the interpretation of blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to plan machining operations.
-Support with set up and calibration of machines.
-Operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC equipment to manufacture precision parts.
-Modify machining techniques when working with specialized materials or requirements.
-Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
-Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure optimal performance.
-Keep work area clean, organized, and safe at all times.
-Report equipment issues and support in troubleshooting and repairs
-Help support all stages of the fabrication process, from initial planning to final assembly or installation. This includes setting up work areas, and operating machinery.
-Support the procurement coordinator to track inventory levels, procure necessary materials, and optimize supply chain processes to avoid shortages and control costs.
-Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, imply lean manufacturing principles, and support efficient enhancements in fabrication methods.
-Hands on support within the facility and perform fabrication tasks as needed: support with 3D printers, machining, assembly, deburring, shop maintenance etc.
-Work in a safe manner and report all health and safety incidents and concerns when they occur.
