Tasks:
Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations
Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
Prepare etching solution and immerse metal parts or workpiece into the etching solution to remove unwanted portions
Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery
Enter codes specifying speed, feed and cut of the toolpath for computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools
Clean and maintain work space
Equipment and machinery experience: Boring machines, Broaching machine, Cylinder grinder, Drilling machine, Engine lathes, Milling machines, Sawing machine, Surface grinders, Tool grinders, Turret lathes, Universal grinders, Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines, Laser levelling/aligning, Operate laser cutters, Welding
Repetitive machining operation experience: Turning, Milling, Boring, Planing, Honing, Broaching, Drilling, Grinding
Equipment: Single purpose production machine, Automatic lathes, Screw machines, Tapping machines, Gear cutting machine, Automated transfer machine, Form cutting machines, SolidWorks software
