Job Duties: Estimate costs and materials; Prepare production and other reports; Train or arrange for training; Co-ordinate and schedule activities; Ensure health and safety regulations are followed; Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies; Set up machines and equipment; Supervise workers and projects; Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions; Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
Work setting: Building construction materials; General manufacturing
Terms of employment: Permanent; Full-time; Day/Evening
Wages: $37.97 per hour for 30 hours a week
Education required: High School Diploma
Work experience preferred: Over 5 years
Supervision: 3-4 people
Equipment and machinery experience: Drill presses; Engine lathes; Milling machines; Tapping machines
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently; Tight deadlines; Physically demanding
Personal suitability: Accurate; Dependability; Excellent oral communication; Initiative
