Machined Parts Inspector Job

• Reads and interprets documents like drawings, work orders and specifications.
• Determines appropriate inspection processes to confirm that assigned products and parts meet specifications.
• Verifies dimensions of machined parts for accuracy and conformance to specifications by using various precision measuring instruments, like callipers, gauges, and micrometres.
• Maintains the precision measuring instruments.
• Confirms the quality of finished parts and reports deviations from specifications and tolerances.
• Completes and documents inspection records and prepares inspection reports.
• Prepare the documentation for process procedures and work instructions.
• Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts.
• Draft the checklist and manual documentation for the inspection.
• Supervise and provide instruction and training to the labourers during the process.

• At least college diploma in engineering, mechanics, material science, or related discipline
• At least one year of related work experience
• Ability of using FEA
• Familiar with CAD software
• Experience utilizing precision measuring tools (i.e. Micrometers, callipers, etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good math and calculation skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause finding skills
• Leadership and team management abilities
• Flexible at schedule, and night shift is required
