Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fitter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining various mechanical components and systems. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprint reading, welding, and mechanical assembly, ensuring that projects meet quality standards and safety regulations. The Fitter will play a crucial part in supporting manufacturing processes, construction projects, and equipment maintenance.
Duties:
Fit and assemble prefabricated metal parts to build heavy industrial machinery
Read blueprints to determine work requirements
Move and align subassemblies and components
Install major components such as gears, pumps, motors or hydraulic assemblies
Inspect furniture and fixture subassemblies and finished products for conformance to quality standards.

Heavy machinery manufacturing
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $36.00 per hour
