About the Position
Maxx Tires and Lube Inc. is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Lubrication Technician to join our automotive service and repair team in Georgetown, Ontario.
The successful candidate will perform routine vehicle maintenance, lubrication services, tire repairs and balancing, and the installation and replacement of various automotive components. Experience with radiators, exhaust systems, mufflers, shock absorbers and tires is an asset.
Key Responsibilities
Perform oil changes and lubricate vehicle components, including moving parts and running gear.
Replace oil, air and fuel filters on vehicles, trucks and applicable equipment.
Inspect, replenish and replace hydraulic and transmission fluids as required.
Install and replace automotive components, including radiators, mufflers, exhaust pipes and shock absorbers.
Perform tire repairs, installation and balancing services.
Assist automotive mechanics with maintenance and repair activities.
Provide on-site automotive servicing when required.
Grease and maintain applicable heavy equipment components.
Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain an organized work environment.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
2 years to less than 3 years of relevant automotive service and repair experience.
Experience with lubrication services, tire installation, tire balancing and automotive component replacement.
Familiarity with automotive exhaust systems, radiators, mufflers, shock absorbers and commercial vehicle wheels is an asset.
Ability to work in a fast-paced automotive service environment.
Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.
Work Conditions and Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Comfortable with bending, crouching and kneeling.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Steel-toed safety boots required.
