Position Info:

• Position: Tattoo Artist
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $36.00~$38.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-44 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 2
• Work Location: 208-223 10 Street NW, Calgary, AB T2N 1V5

Job Duties:

• Consult with clients to discuss design, size, color, and placement, while providing professional advice on skin suitability and potential contraindications
• Design and create original, customized tattoo artwork based on individual client preferences and specifications
• Apply permanent tattoos using a dermograph and specialized pigments, ensuring accuracy in line work, shading, and colour application
• Maintain strict health and safety protocols by cleaning and sterilising all reusable equipment and work areas to prevent cross-contamination
• Instruct clients on proper aftercare procedures and the healing process to promote safe recovery and optimal tattoo results
• Maintain accurate records of client consultations, consent forms, and ink batch information
• May schedule appointments, maintain client portfolios, and stay updated on the latest industry trends and safety regulations

Job requirements:

• Experience: 2~3 years of experience as a tattoo artist is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
