Royal City Trucking is now looking for ten (10) long haul truck drivers to join our team.
Job Title : Long Haul Truck Drivers (NOC 73300)
Vacancies : 10 positions available
Wages : CAD $36.60 per hour on the basis of 50 hours per week
Term of Employment : Full Time & Permanent

Specific Skills
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Load and unload goods.
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
• Perform brake adjustments, Perform emergency roadside repairs.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
Weight Handling
Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs.)
Transportation/Travel Experience
Long-haul
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
Benefits:
• We will provide a joining bonus of $600 to the newly hired employee.
• We will provide a referral bonus of $600.
• We will provide safety bonus of $600 to the driver for keeping driving abstract clean.
