Sartaj Trucking Ltd.
Sartaj Trucking Ltd. located at Unit 6740 Kent Crescent, Delta, BC, Canada V4E 1K7 is looking to recruit 4 long haul truck drivers for their fleet operating in major destinations all over Canada and US.
Job Requirements/Details:
No. of Positions: 4 (Fulltime/Permanent)
Salary: $ 36.60/hr. for 40-50 hours per week.
Education: Minimum High School
Credentials: Driver's License BC Class 1 or equivalent
Security and Safety: Valid passport, Driver's validity license check, Drug test
Experience: Previous experience is an asset. On job training will be provided
Languages: Read, Write and Speak English
Type of Trucking and Equipment: Tractor Trailer
Type of Travel: Long Haul, Canada wide and US destinations
Specific Skills: Driver must be able to drive as a 2-person team.
Documentation Knowledge: Knowledge of Driver logbook, Bill of lading, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Maintenance and repair reports, Trip reports, Accident or incident reports
Duties to be performed:
The driver must also be able to drive a trailer to transport goods and materials, load and unload goods, plan travel schedules and routes, oversee the condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights brakes and other equipment. Also, perform brake adjustments, monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness, and perform preventative maintenance. Communicate with dispatcher, other drivers and customers. Willing to travel for extended periods.
