Job Description:
• Drive with a partner or as part of a convoy.
• Load and unload freight safely.
• Secure permits and required documents for international transport.
• Operate straight and articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Inspect and monitor vehicle condition, including tires, lights, brakes, refrigeration, and equipment.
• Adjust brakes when required.
• Complete emergency roadside repairs.
• Conduct pre trip, en route, and post trip inspections.
• Maintain responsibility for overall vehicle operation and condition.
• Record cargo details, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
• Secure loads with tarps and ensure cargo safety.
• Transport and handle dangerous goods according to regulations.
