Job Description:
We are currently hiring 15 full-time and permanent Long-Haul truck drivers to drive across Various Locations in North America
Terms of Employment:
Permanent, Full Time, Weekend, Morning, Day, Evening, Night
Salary:
$36.60 Hourly for 40-60 Hours per week. (Overtime applicable after 60 hours a week)
Anticipated Start Date (at the latest in 3 months):

Not required
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.):
Driver's Licence (Class 1 or A), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
Experience:
No experience is required, on job training will be provided.
Languages:
Basic English is required

Driver logbook, Bill of lading, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Trans-border documentation, Maintenance and repair reports, Trip reports, Accident or incident reports
Communication Equipment Experience:
Cellular phone, Satellite tracking (GPS) equipment
Specific Skills:
• Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials,
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo,
• Use atlases and other trip planning aids,
• Receive and relay information to central dispatcher,
• Perform brake adjustments,
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption,
• Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes,
• Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy,
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment,
• Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness,
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency roadside repairs

Driving record check (abstract), Drug test, Medical exam
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

Willing to travel cross-border, Willing to travel for extended periods, Valid driver's licence
