Class one Driver’s License with Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, Completion of Secondary School
Job duties:
· Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks weighing over 4600 kg with three or axels to transport goods and material to destinations
· Oversee all aspects of vehicles such as condition of equipment, loading and unloading and safety of cargo
· Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle systems and equipment loading and unloading ad safety and security of cargo
· Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle systems and equipment such as tires lights brakes and cold storage
· Perform emergency roadside repairs
· Record cargo information distance traveled fuel consumption and other information in log book
· May drive as part of a two -person team or convoy
· May transport hazardous products or dangerous goods
Transportation and Travel Information: Willing to travel cross-border, willing to travel for extended periods, willing to travel overnight, willing to drive as a team.
Supplementary Benefits: On-the-job training provided by an experienced Supervisor.
