F/T Long Haul Truck Drivers required for Centurion Trucking Inc. located at 18242 8th Avenue Surrey BC V3Z 9R9.
At Centurion Trucking Inc. we specialize in Full Truckload Transportation to all major markets in Canada and the United States. Centurion Trucking Inc. provides the latest model equipment and steady all year-round work for the drivers.
Salary: $36.60/hr. for 40 -50 hours per week.
No. of Positions: 20 (Full-time/Permanent)
Education: High School
Credentials: Driver's License BC Class 1 or AZ, Air Brake Adjustment Certificate
Experience: Previous experience is an asset. On job training will be provided.
Languages: Read, Write and Speak English.
Type of Trucking and Equipment: Tractor Trailer
Type of Travel: Long-haul, National, International.
Specific Skills: Driver must be able to drive as 2 person team.
Documentation Knowledge: Knowledge of Driver logbook, Bill of lading, Inspection report (pre-trip, enroute, post-trip), Maintenance and repair reports, Trip reports, Accident or incident reports
Benefits: After 3 months the company will provide extended medical benefits that include Eyecare, Dental, physio, Travel and life insurance.
Financial Support for relocation: Financial Support will be provided to qualified truck drivers willing to relocate from any part of Canada and relevant job will be offered to their spouse and children if eligible for work.
Duties to be performed: Driver must also be able to drive truck to transport goods and materials, load and unload goods, plan travel schedules and routes, oversee the condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights brakes and other equipment. Also perform brake adjustments, monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness and perform preventative maintenance. Communicate with dispatchers, other drivers and customers. Willing to travel for extended periods
