Driver's validity license check

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Candidates must have great attention to detail, handle sitting for prolonged hours in a physically demanding work environment

Personal Suitability:
Must be flexible, reliable, have good judgement skills and be a team player

Specific Skills:
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Load and unload goods
• Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo
• Communicate with dispatch
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection
• Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness; inspect all aspects of vehicle
• Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs, preventative maintenance
• Maintain log book for each trip
