Position Type: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $36.60 per hour
Hours: 50 to 60 hours per week

Job Overview
Virtuous Truck Lines Ltd is currently hiring responsible and dependable Long Haul Truck Drivers to join our growing transportation team. Drivers will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods across local, provincial, and international routes.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks (tractor-trailer, flatbed, etc.)
Load and unload goods
Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
Oversee condition of vehicle including tires, brakes, lights, and cold storage systems
Record cargo details, hours of service, fuel usage, and distance traveled
Communicate with dispatch and maintain accurate logbooks
Obtain special permits and documentation for cross-border/international transport
Qualifications
Language: English
Education: Secondary school graduation certificate
Experience: Will train
Required Licences:
Class 1 or A Driver’s Licence
Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
Experience & Specialization
Equipment: Flatbed, Tractor-Trailer, Straight Truck (10,000 lbs+ with 3+ axles)
Documentation: Driver logbook
Travel: Local, Provincial, National, and International routes
Additional Requirements
Valid passport
Clean criminal record and driving abstract
Willing to travel internationally and for extended periods
Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
Physically capable of handling heavy loads
Flexible and reliable with sound judgment
