Salary and Hours
Hourly Wage: $36.60
Hours per Week: 50 to 60
Schedule: Day, Morning, Evening, Night, Weekend, Early Morning, Overtime, Flexible Hours

Language: English
Education: High school diploma (secondary school graduation certificate)
Experience: Will train
License: Class 1 or equivalent with Air Brakes Endorsement
Travel: Must be willing to travel long distances, cross-border, and overnight
Documentation: Valid passport and clean driver’s abstract required
Job Duties
Drive straight or articulated trucks for long-haul transport
Operate as a solo driver or in a team/convoy
Load, unload, tarp, and secure cargo, including dangerous goods
Perform safety checks and inspections (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
Monitor and document hours, mileage, cargo details, and fuel usage
Maintain contact with dispatch
Conduct brake adjustments and report maintenance needs
Equipment and Documents
Must be able to operate GPS and navigation tools
Familiarity with:
Driver logbooks
Bills of lading
Maintenance/inspection reports
Trans-border paperwork
Truck types: Flatbed, Straight truck (3+ axles), Tractor-trailer
Manual transmission experience required
Work Conditions
Physically demanding, requires handling loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Long periods of sitting
Requires attention to detail
Work outdoors and across varied weather and terrain
Steel-toed boots and mobile phone required
Personal Qualities
Good communication skills (oral and written)
Flexible and adaptable
Able to work as part of a team
