Job Description:
Smart Global Logistics Inc, located at 18-1415 Bonhill Rd. Mississauga, ON, L5T 1R2, is looking for a permanent and full-time long haul truck driver (NOC 73300) to be a part of their team.

Job Duties:
• Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Perform emergency roadside repairs
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
• Communicate with passengers, dispatchers or other drivers using two-way radio systems
• Ensure transport compliance with regulations
Job Requirements:
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
On the road
Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee.
