Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 – 2 years
Certificates, licenses, and courses:
Driver's License (Class 1 or A) and Completion of Mandatory Entry Level Training (MELT)

Job duties and responsibilities:-
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials to destinations.
• Loading and unloading of goods.
• Perform Pre-Trip and Post-Trip inspections such as tire pressure, lights and breaks etc.
• Oversee all functions of vehicle such as condition of equipment, loading and unloading, safety and security of cargo.
• Record cargo information, distance travelled, fuel consumption and other information in log book.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatcher.
• Comply with Occupational Health and Safety Act
