Wages: $36.60 per hour, 40 hours per week;
Overtime wage: $54.90 after 8 hours/day or 40 hours/week
Benefits: 4% Vacation pay
Work Location: 14182 89B Avenue, Surrey, BC V3V 7Y7 (The candidate is needed to work on various locations depending on the requirement)
Eligibility:
• Education: Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate
• Experience: Will train
• Language: English
Job Duties:
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Drive lighter, special purpose trucks
• Load and unload goods
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Perform pre-trip, end route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
