LONG HAUL TRUCK DRIVER Job

We are seeking to hire Long Haul Truck Driver with a minimum 1 year Class-1 License.
Wages:
$28-$30 Per Hour
Job Duration:
40-50 Hours Per week
Responsibilities
Tasks

Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy;
Load and unload goods;
Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials;
Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment;
Perform brake adjustments;
Perform emergency roadside repairs;
Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle;
Perform preventive maintenance.

Documentation knowledge
Accident or incident reports;
Driver logbook;
Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip);
Trans-border documentation;
Trip reports.

Transportation/travel experience
Long-haul (minimum 1 year).

Communication systems experience

Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment;
Trip recorder (onboard computer).
