Heartland Transport Ltd. is looking for full time permanent Long Haul Truck Drivers.

Title: Long Haul Truck Driver
Salary: $37.00 per hour
Terms of Employment: Full Time/Permanent
Position Available: 6
Start Date of Employment: As soon as possible

Job Requirements
• Education: Completion of Secondary Education is required
• Experience: On Job Training will be provided

Job Duties
• Drive and operate truck-trailer for long haul
• Perform pre-inspection and post trip inspection of vehicles systems and equipment such as tires, brakes, lights etc
• Perform emergency roadside repair
• Record cargo info and trip details
• Communicate with dispatcher and other drivers
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment
• Maintain logs of hours and service in log book or on-board computer
