Super Axle Transportation Ltd. - A company is looking for "Long Haul Truck Drivers" who are dependable, trustworthy, and having commitment to provide quality service, for their fleet operating in major destinations all over Canada and US. The details are as below:
Position: Long Haul Truck Drivers (Full Time/ Permanent)
Salary:36.60/hr for 40-50hrs/week
Number of Positions: 6
Education: High School
Credentials: Driver's Licence BC Class 1 or AZ, Air Brake Adjustment Certificate
Experience: Previous job experience is an asset. On job Training will be provided.
Languages: Should be able to Read, Write and Speak English language
Type of Trucking and Equipment: Tractor Trailer
Type of Travel: Canada wide and US destinations
Specific skills: Team player, Able to concentrate for long periods
Documentation Knowledge: Knowledge of Driver logbook, Bill of lading, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Maintenance and repair reports, Trip reports, Accident, or incident reports
Duties to be performed:
Driver must also be able to drive truck to transport goods and materials, loading and unloading goods, plan travel schedules and routes, oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes and other equipment. Also perform brake adjustments, monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness, and perform preventative maintenance. Communicate with dispatcher, other drivers, and customers. Willing to travel for extended periods
