Long Haul Truck Driver Job

Robust Transport Services Ltd., a reputable transportation company based in Abbotsford, BC, with extensive experience in logistics and day-to-day road operations, is currently seeking ten (10) full-time, permanent Long-Haul Truck Drivers to join our growing team. Successful candidates will operate trucks across Canada and the United States.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
• Experience: 7 months to 1 year of relevant experience required. On-the-job training
will be provided.
• Language: Basic knowledge of English.
• License:
 Must have or be eligible to obtain a Class 1, A, or equivalent commercial
driver’s license.
 Air brake endorsement (Z) is required.

Work Locations:

Various locations across Canada and the USA, depending on current business contracts and logistics needs.

Compensation & Benefits:
• Wage: $36.65 per hour for 40–60 hours per week.
• Vacation Pay: 4% vacation pay included with each scheduled paycheck.
• Sick Leave: Five (5) paid sick days per year.

Job Responsibilities:
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Load and unload cargo as required.
• Follow all transportation safety protocols and procedures.
• Ensure the safety and security of all cargo during transit.
• Plan routes and obtain necessary documentation for transporting goods.
• Conduct basic roadside repairs when necessary.
• Drive independently or as part of a two-person team.
• Maintain accurate records of cargo, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Communicate regularly with dispatch to provide updates on delivery status.
• Must be willing and able to complete long-haul routes.
