Laila Express Inc. in Victoria, BC is looking for a Logistics Supervisor.

Position: Logistics Supervisor
Wage: C$35.5 per hour
Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week
Benefit: 4% of the employee's total wages during the year
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Work Location: Victoria, BC

Job Duties:
• Lead the team responsible for parcel dispatch, shipment coordination, and inventory management.
• Plan transportation routes, optimize delivery schedules, and adjust as needed to accommodate customer demand.
• Implement and uphold safety, security, and operational guidelines, suggesting improvements to optimize processes.
• Address delivery challenges, delays, or customer concerns, implementing solutions to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Train team members in logistics procedures and standards, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Monitor and requisition supplies and materials needed for daily operations, ensuring the team is equipped for efficient performance.
• Ensure functionality of logistics systems and equipment, coordinating repairs or maintenance as required to minimize downtime.

• A bachelor’s degree or college diploma in a related field is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
