Logistics Supervisor Transportation Job

Galaxy Freightline Inc. located at 1580 Britannia Rd E, Mississauga, ON L4W 1J2, requires 1 Logistics Supervisor Transportation on a Permanent full-time basis. Wage: $ 36 per hour for a minimum of 30 hours or above per week. Must have 1 year to less than 2 years verifiable experience. Education Required – College. Job duties
• Plan and optimize truck routes to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
• Supervise the maintenance and upkeep of the company's fleet of trucks. Schedule regular maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Develop schedules for drivers and ensure they adhere to assigned routes and delivery times.
• Coordinate and oversee dispatch operations, including load assignments and tracking.
• Ensure that drivers comply with regulations related to driving hours, rest periods, and vehicle maintenance and they follow safety regulations and use appropriate safety equipment.
• Communicate with customers to confirm delivery schedules and address any issues or concerns.
• Prepare and process shipping documents, such as bills of lading, invoices, etc.
• Utilize logistics management software and technology for route planning, tracking, and reporting.
• Any other relevant tasks.
