Cioffi’s Meat Market and Deli Ltd. in Burnaby, BC, is looking for an experienced Logistics Supervisor.

Conditions:

 Job Title: Logistics Supervisor (NOC 12013)
 Working Hours: 30 hours per week (Full-time, Permanent position)
 Wage: $37.00/hour
 Vacation: 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% gross salary
 Benefits: Extended health and dental costs shared 50/50 with employee

Requirements:

 Education: Completion of secondary school
 Experience: 2-3 years of experience in the related field or in the occupation supervised
 Language: English
Job Duties:
• Understanding planning, shipping, warehouse management and inventory systems
• Managing daily routes/schedules of deliveries
• Co-ordinate, assign and review staffs' work in regards to shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, maintaining inventory.
• Oversee the inventory and logistics operation, establish work schedules and monitor the on-going process
• Ensure smooth operation of computer systems, equipment and machinery and arrange for maintenance and repair work
• Resolve inventory-related issues like supply shortages and technical failures
• Train workers in duties and co-ordinate activities with other work departments
