Logistics / SCM Specialist Job

• Logistics & Warehousing Operations (35%)
o Coordinate daily inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and accurate documentation (BOLs, packing lists, invoices)
o Manage warehouse inventory levels, including stock counts, storage allocation, and replenishment schedules
o Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of goods according to company standards
o Support warehouse team in organizing loading/unloading operations and maintaining a clean, safe work environment
o Monitor logistics compliance with domestic and international shipping regulations

• Sales Support & Customer Service (25%)
o Respond to customer inquiries regarding order tracking, shipping status, and product availability
o Provide sales team with logistics data such as lead times, freight quotes, and delivery options
o Assist with preparing quotes, sales orders, and coordinating logistics for customer shipments
o Follow up with customers to resolve delivery issues and maintain high satisfaction

• Cross-Functional Coordination & Reporting (20%)
o Work closely with purchasing, production, and quality control teams to align logistics plans with production timelines
o Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics and warehouse performance
o Prepare routine reports on inventory turnover, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency
o Support cycle counts and audits in collaboration with the finance or inventory team

• Vendor Management & Cost Control (20%)
o Coordinate with freight carriers, 3PLs, and warehousing partners to manage daily operations
o Obtain freight quotes and recommend cost-effective shipping solutions
o Monitor logistics spend and suggest improvements for cost reduction
o Evaluate vendor performance and support contract negotiations

Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Sales or related.
