Logistics Optimization Specialist Job

IMPEX GLS Inc. seeks Logistics Optimization Specialist to Coordinate the end-to-end execution of air import shipments, managing every milestone from Point of Origin through Last-Mile Delivery. Ensure all cargo remains in full compliance with Customs regulations and customer-specific routing guides while maintaining strict on-time delivery (OTD) schedules. Analyze critical logistics variables—including equipment availability, transit reliability, and transportation lane performance—applying advanced analytic tools to predict and mitigate supply chain disruptions. Identify bottlenecks and recommend strategic improvements to both existing and planned logistics networks. Maintain integrity within Logistics Management Systems (LMS) and databases, computing key reporting metrics such as carrier performance and landed cost analysis. Utilize data modeling and cost-benefit analysis to audit warehouse transactions, ensuring optimal efficiency in receiving, inventory staging, and outbound shipping. Continuously review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to drive down total logistics spend while maximizing throughput.
