Logistics Engineer Job

A Logistics Engineer is needed in LaGrange, Georgia.

• Design operational solutions for logistics activities in manufacturing of automotive parts, such as dash complete, radiator center panel, package tray side, wheel house inner completer and cowl cross.
• Analyze logistics data involving customer service, sales forecasting, procurement, manufac-turing, inventory management and/or transportation to address operational process im-provement.
• Determine logistics support requirements, such as facility details, staffing needs, or safety or maintenance plans in coordinating purchasing, transportation, distribution, and warehousing of materials and finished parts.
• Evaluate the use and efficiency of inventory tracking technology, web-based warehousing software, or intelligent conveyor systems to maximize the facility’s efficiency.
• Prepare documentation on automated logistics data reporting or management information systems for evaluation and analysis of the up-to-date data reporting in logistics activities.
• Evaluate logistics strategies and develop logistics engineering specifications, comprehen-sive supply chain management systems.
• Identify cost reduction factors to improve logistics process in dealing with materials and fin-ished goods in efficient way.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
