Logistics Director Job

Job Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement long-term logistics strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency and support business growth, specifically for the US market.
Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Operations Management:
Oversee all logistics operations in the US, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution.
Performance Monitoring:
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of logistics processes and identify areas for improvement.
Budget Management:
Develop and manage logistics budgets, ensuring cost control and financial efficiency.
Compliance: Ensure all logistics operations comply with relevant US regulations, standards, and safety requirements.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze logistics data to inform decision-making and prepare detailed reports for senior management.

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics management or a related role.
• Proven track record of leading and managing a logistics team.
• Experience overseeing logistics operations in the US market.
