Logistics Coordinator Job

We are seeking a logistics coordinator to coordinate the workflow, prepare delivery and work schedules, monitor the progress and make sure that all the operations are on schedule. Main responsibilities are as follows:
· Plan, organise, and control the logistics of the products sold by Global Trade and Distribution;
· Collaborate with carriers to facilitate smooth logistics processes and ensure timely arrivals;
· Prepare and manage customs documentation for both international and U.S. shipments, including return procedures;
· Generate and maintain reports for the management team such as carriers’ invoices overcharges, lost and damaged goods claims, etc.;
· Manage claims with carriers and marketplaces;
· Maintain regular communication with warehouse, purchasing, and inventory specialists in order to coordinate timely shipping.

· Completion of a post-secondary education program of fewer than two years in Business or Supply Chain Management or extensive experience in logistics and scheduling coordination of projects
· Excellent communication and organizational skills
· Must be able to read, write and speak English
· Proficient with MS Office, including MS Project
· Able to establish and maintain good working relationships with many different people including senior managers, clients and field personnel
· Able to problem solve and take initiative

BENEFITS AND SALARY
· Full-time, permanent position
· $26.44 per hour for 30-40 hours of work per week
· Overtime pay applies after 44 hours of work per week
· Head office: 45 Tigi Ct, Vaughan, ON L4K 5E4
· Work location: customers' sites around the GTA and Ontario
