Skills Requirements:
• Education: Completion of secondary/high school graduation certificate
• Work experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a logistics coordinator is required

Job Duties:
• Compile fuel orders and instructions received from gas stations
• Develop specific plans to prioritize
• Plan and organize operational logistics for fuel supply
• Monitor movement of fuel supplies
• Co-ordinate traffic flow of fuel supplies
• Co-ordinate, assign and review work
• Order fuel supplies
• Keep track of fuel supply shipments
• Organize and maintain fuel inventory
• Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations
• Process and transmit information and instructions to co-ordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews
• Schedule fuel assignments and co-ordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews and equipment
• Advise vehicle operators of traffic and other problems
• Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders
• Follow-up on issues with fuel orders
• Track and complete fuel orders
• Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
• Perform routine clerical duties
• Prepare and submit reports
