Logistics Coordinator Job

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee logistics/supply chain through coordinating purchasing, inventory, sales and distribution teams

2. Coordinate logistics between our warehouses and client sites ensuring safety, accuracy and efficiency

3. Maintain regular communication with gas supervisors and fillers, inventory and purchasing supervisors, and the distribution team to ensure the timely movement of products

4. Monitor supplies and inventory required for gas refill and containment

5. Generate monthly reports for management on supplies and inventory, purchasing and distribution of tanks and gas filling equipment in relations to sales and fulfillments

6. Make sure that parts, certifications, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and materials are moved throughout in a coordinated and monitored manner and that products, materials, and gas cylinders are transported and received on time

7. Prepare customs paperwork for inbound hard goods from the United States

8. Comply with all WHMIS, TDG, TSSA, and health and safety regulations

1. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, commerce, or sales/marketing

2. Experience and knowledge of the industrial gases distribution industry and the related supply chain and logistics

3. Analytical skills and experience with measurement and calibration of gas cylinders, filling equipment, and storage tanks

4. In-depth knowledge and experience utilizing Quasimodo's Powerware ERP, and Quasimodo WMS.

5. Experience with scheduling and monitoring large shipping fleets

6. Experience with creating and scheduling shipping and receiving orders including inbound and outbound milk runs

7. Experience in preparing US customs paperwork

8. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certification

9. Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) License

10. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
