Logistics Analyst Job

A Logistics Analyst is needed in Wood Dale, Illinois.

• Coordinate overall logistics planning by monitoring availability and operations schedules for management of company’s logistics business operations.
• Monitor and track flow of incoming and outgoing inventories and freight services to adjust logistics systems as necessary.
• Prepare logistics operations report for coordinating logistics support activities.
• Gather data for analyzing the company’s logistics lifecycle and evaluating related cost.
• Analyze and interpret logistics information based on availability, dependability, maintainability, supply chain management, supplier management and transportation.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer requirements while minimizing carrying costs and premium transportation charges.
• Identify reoccurring problems concerning logistics operations and research solutions abiding to company’s regulations.
• Assure maximum efficiency by reviewing operational procedures, such as distribution, and inventory management to evaluate cost effectiveness.

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field of study.
