Job Description:
Logistics Analyst
• Position available in Dalton, GA.
Job Duties:
• Maintain databases of logistics information, including logistics cost business plan management and logistics master data.
• Communicate with and monitor service providers while managing logistics cost reduction efforts.
• Track product flow from origin to final delivery and manage customs clearance for materials, equipment, and spare parts.
• Interpret data on logistics elements, such as availability, reliability, and transportation costs, to recommend cost-saving measures.
• Prepare reports on logistics performance measures, including monthly cost analysis reports and duty analysis/management reports.
• Enter logistics-related data into databases and ensure the accuracy of vendor payments.
• Analyze logistics data using methods such as data mining or cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction.
• Reorganize shipping schedules and manage systems to optimize service levels, minimize costs, etc.
• Position available in Dalton, GA.
