Belwood Poultry Ltd.

Belwood Poultry Ltd. has an immediate opening for an experienced Logistic Coordinator (NOC: 13201) at our location in Windsor, Ontario.

As a, Logistic Coordinator (NOC: 13201) you will perform some or all of the following duties:

• Plan and oversee operational logistics of supply-chain work departments
• Coordinate the flow of inbound and outbound freight while staying abreast of daily priorities and weekly transportation targets.
• Direct and organize logistics activities such as obtaining shipment rates, negotiating with logistics service providers, tracking and expediting shipments, and solving any discrepancy of quality, quantity, and schedule.
• Consult with production supervisor to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner
• Prepare all related shipping documentation including but not limited to the commercial/pro-forma invoice, bill of lading, packing slip as required.
• Communicate regularly with different to coordinate activities between warehouses, production floors, construction sites or other supply chain work units or departments
• Maintaining inventories of materials, parts and products to complete production
• Establish work schedules and procedures to meet company requirements
• Prepare and maintain various reports on the progress of work, materials used, rates of production and other production information, using manual or computerized systems.
Qualifications:
• Completion of a post-secondary education program of less than two years in Business or Supply Chain Management or 1-2 years of experience as a dispatcher, production clerk or scheduling clerk is required.
• Proven analytical skills with the ability to tackle problems systematically to diagnose issues and produce effective recommendations;
• Multi-tasker, attention to detail, and effective time management.
• Proven experience as a welder or welder-fitter in a manufacturing, industrial, or heavy welding industry

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (40 hours/week)
Compensation: CA $ 25.96/hour
