Locum Cardiac Anesthesiologist Opportunity – South Central Pennsylvania
Zeal Med is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens assignment at a Level I Trauma hospital in South Central Pennsylvania. This opportunity offers competitive compensation, a diverse and complex case mix, and ongoing coverage needs into 2027.
ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
- Start date: November 2026
- Contract length: Initial 13 weeks, with ongoing coverage needs into 2027
- Specific coverage dates available in November and December
- Full-time coverage opportunities in 2027
- Credentialing: Approximately 90 days (temporary privileges may be available for clean files with leadership approval)
SCHEDULE
- Day shifts: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (10 hours)
- Night call: 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM (beeper call)
- Call frequency: Approximately 3 nights per week
- Post-call: Off the following day or released around 11:00 AM
- Some shifts are daytime only, without call
CLINICAL DETAILS
- Hospital-based practice
- Level I Trauma Center
- Cardiac anesthesia and complex surgical cases
- Diverse surgical and procedural case mix
- Patient population: All ages
- Collaborative clinical environment
- EMR: Epic

- ACLS and PALS
- Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
