What we offer:
- Full-time position as a Loans supervisor (40 hours per week);
- Hourly rate of $36.06 CAD (75,000 CAD annually);
- Extended health benefits.
Job responsibilities include:
• Supervise loan application processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements;
• Interview applicants, open new accounts, underwrite loans, and assess applicants’ financial status and creditworthiness;
• Increase loan applications by engaging new and existing customers, implementing sales strategies, and selling loans to individuals and businesses;
• Lead and train loan processors, providing guidance and performance evaluations;
• Track loan performance, ensuring timely repayments and managing delinquencies;
• Complete credit and loan documentation, and prepare reports on loan activity, performance, and compliance for management;
• Review loan applications for approval or denial based on risk assessments, review and update credit and loan files;
• Recommend improvements to policies, procedures, and systems for efficiency;
• Ensure confidentiality of customer and financial data;
• Collaborate with other departments to promote loan sales.
Skills and requirements:
- Completion of secondary school
- Minimum 1-2 years of related work experience;
- A bachelor's degree or college diploma related to commerce or economics would be an asset
