Line cook Job

A line cook prepares and cooks menu items at their assigned station, ensuring food quality, presentation, and timely service according to recipes and standards.

Term of Employment : Permanent, Full time and 40 hours a week
Schedule : Evening, Flexible hours, Morning, On call, Day or Weekend
Wage : $22.00 per hour
Language Requirements : English
Work Location : Nanton, Alberta
Start Date : As soon as possible

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Co-ordinate special events
Requisition food and kitchen supplies
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
Inspect kitchens and food service areas
Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
Clean kitchen and work areas
Organize buffets and banquets
Manage kitchen operations

Qualifications:
Minimum of High School Diploma or Completion of College
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in cook
Strong communication skills and efficient Interpersonal Skills and Attention.
Highly organized and thrive as a Team Player.
Must be detail oriented and client focused.
Can work under pressure and physically demanding.
Can lift heavy items as needed
