Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and kitchen standards
• Assist with food preparation such as chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and portioning ingredients
• Cook and plate dishes during service while maintaining quality and presentation
• Follow instructions from the chef or kitchen supervisor
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work station
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed
• Monitor food supplies and inform supervisors when stock is low
• Store food properly and label ingredients as required
• Coordinate and oversee the work of kitchen staff
• Assist with receiving and organizing food deliveries
• Ensure proper food portioning and minimize food waste
• Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and preparation areas
• Work with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Requirements:
• Completion of Secondary school is required
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience is required
