HIRING: 3 LINE COOKS in Squamish, BC

Position: Line Cook
Position Available: 3

Employer: Squamish Samurai Sushi (operated by Squamish Sushi Inc.)

Working Conditions:
• Permanent, Full-time
• Wage: $21-$25 per hour (Depending on experience)
• Working hours: 35-40 hours per week
• Working Locations: 40254 Glenalder Place, Squamish, BC V8B 0G2

Job Duties:
• Cook and prepare menu items at assigned kitchen stations (e.g., hot food line, cold food line, prep station etc.) according to daily deployment plans.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, workstations, and equipment.
• Monitor, record, and maintain inventory levels of food ingredients and kitchen supplies.
• Organize and rotate ingredients and supplies using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory system.
• Train, guide, and supervise newly hired cooks and kitchen helpers.

Requirements:
• Language: English
• Education: Completion of high school
• Experience: 1-2 years of cooking experience in commercial kitchens/food services
• Must be available to work at least one day on weekends and holidays
