Line Cook Job

Horse and Ryder Pub Ltd., located at 20699 42 Ave, Langley, BC, V3A 3B1, urgently requires one Permanent & Full Time Line Cook. We welcome and encourage Youth, New immigrants, and Aboriginal people to apply.

Job Duties:
• Prepare and cook full course meals.
• Prepare and cook individual dishes and foods.
• Inspect kitchen and food service areas and ensure food safety standards are met.
• Train staff in preparing, cooking and handling of food.
• Supervise kitchen staff and kitchen helpers.
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as grill, fryer, stovetops etc.
• Maintain clean kitchen and work areas.
• Coordinate & manage kitchen operations.

Education: High school completion is required.
Experience: 1-2 years of work experience in a relevant field is required.
Language: English is required.
Number of Positions: 1
Wage: $20 per hour for 40 hours per week along with 4% Vacation Pay.
