Work Location: Same as above and various clients’ locations across the Greater Toronto Area.

Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Duties:

Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors

Dust furniture

Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture

Make beds and change sheets

Distribute clean towels and toiletries

Stock linen closet

Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances

Disinfect operating rooms and other areas

Clean and disinfect elevators

Handle and report lost and found items

Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items

Provide basic information on facilities

Pick up debris and empty trash containers

Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene

Launder clothing and household linens

Mend clothing and linens

Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

Shop for food and household supplies

Wash windows, walls and ceilings

Clean changing rooms and showers

Address customers' complaints or concerns

Requirements:

Education: Not required.

Experience: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided.

Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Standing for extended periods, Walking.

Language: Basic level of English is required

Worksite environment: Dusty.

Salary: $18.00 hourly, 35 - 40 hours per week.

Benefits: Gratuities, Mileage paid, Uniforms provided by the employer, Subsidised public transportation, Transportation costs covered if worker needs to relocate.

Important Information: The worker will work 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm., including one paid 30-minute lunch break and one unpaid 15-minute coffee break. Overtime work may be required depending on the business’ needs.
